Mission/Vision

At the heart of Tribute Hospice & Palliative Care’s mission is providing compassionate patient care that enhances the lives of people with life-limiting illness. Our vision is to lead the community by providing superior, individualized hospice care. Also, we aim to educate the community on end-of-life care.

Tracy Hildreth, R.N.

Tracy Hildreth graduated from Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing in 1988, and has over 32 years of nursing experience. Tracy is a well-rounded and knowledgeable nurse, with her fields of experience ranging from Labor & Delivery, to Geriatrics and End of Life care. Partnering with her two sisters and her friend, Tracy is an owner and administrator for Tribute Hospice and Palliative Care and Texas Coaction Consultants LLC. “Owning a healthcare consulting agency and a hospice has given me the opportunity to make an impactful change in the lives of others, give back to the community and share my knowledge in the healthcare industry, and I hope to keep serving this community with excellence and the best possible patient care.” Apart from dedicating her service to her community, Tracy spends her free time enjoying relaxing beach days or spending her time in nature by camping and kayaking, but most importantly, Tracy values spending time with her family and friends.

Amy Cooley, R.N.

After Graduating with a BS in Psychology from A&M College Station in 1995, Amy Cooley went back to school to become a Registered Nurse, and has since then been serving in the Healthcare field. She has many areas of expertise after spending 13 years as a “med surg tele” and 17 years in Home health and Hospice, as well as aiding in the startup of multiple other Home health/Hospice companies, Amy knows her way around the Hospice business. Ever the entrepreneur, Amy has come together with her sisters and friends to own and operate Tribute Hospice and Palliative Care, so rest assured that with these knowledgeable women, your community is in the best hands in the business! Amy has many additional certifications including the ELNEC (End-of-life Nursing Education Consortium) and is always looking for ways to improve palliative care and her own nursing practices in general. Amy is a determined, creative, and incredibly experienced nurse and currently serves as the Alternate Director of Nursing for Tribute Hospice. Other than her passion for healthcare, Amy enjoys creative projects, spending time with family and friends, and rescuing/fostering animals with her super awesome daughter. Amy is the proud mother of two children, Kathleen and Gabriel (2003-2020) and works with the Faith & Hope foundation to rescue animals in the Corpus Christi area and give them an opportunity at finding better homes–more evidence of her compassionate and altruistic characteristics, which she hopes is evident and extends into her work.

Jennifer Harper, R.N.

Jennifer Harper has been a nurse for nine years and has experience in many facets of the healthcare field, including providing home care skilled nursing services, establishing and building a trusting relationship with patients and their families in their own home setting, Rehabilitation, Comfort, and End of Life care. After growing up in a military family and traveling frequently, Jennifer has been a Corpus Christi resident for 26 years and cares deeply for her community, providing her healthcare skills as a means of giving back. Jennifer looks up to her sisters and business partners, “My two sisters became RNs long before myself, and have always inspired me to be more, do more, and achieve goals of my own. I want to be like them when I grow up!”, and is grateful for the opportunity to serve her community alongside them. Her goals for Tribute Hospice are to provide peaceful end of life care for patients and their loved ones. Jennifer strives for excellence in her work and settles for only the best service and patient care.

Sharlene Tate, R.N.

After graduating Texas A&M CC with a degree in Education, Sharlene Tate went back to school and obtained a Nursing degree, graduating in 1999. Sharlene has been a nurse for 23 years, establishing her roots as a Nursery and NICU Nurse for 10 years, before opting to stay home and raise her three boys and run her family business. Simultaneously, Sharlene continued working part-time nursing in various places, including Spohn Wellness Clinic, Corpus Christi Urology Clinic, and Driscoll Children’s Hospital. She ran her family business until the boys graduated and were seniors in high school, when she decided to go back to nursing full time. Sharlene fell in love with organ donation and had the privilege of learning a whole new industry of healthcare. She currently works part time traveling to help various hospitals educate families and start donor cases, claiming that “It has been very rewarding!” In her return to healthcare, Sharlene also began her journey with hospice care.
